Their True Colors Took Them Out

·        The left wing activist group ACORN folded in March of 2010 amid falling revenues.  This was just a few months after video footage exposed its workers giving tax tips to conservative activists posing as a pimp and prostitute. (Source: Associated Press – March 2010)

 

Corrupt Organization

·        In Clark County NV, ACORN submitted 91,002 completed forms of which only 23,186 turned out to be valid new voters, which means 74% of voter forms were fraudulent. (Source: New York Times - May 2009)

·        A former ACORN Las Vegas field director, Christopher Edwards, was hit with a 13 count indictment for creating an incentive program called "blackjack" where $5 was offered for signing more than 21 prospective voters. (Source: New York Times - May 2009)

·        ACORN's former deputy regional director, Amy Busefink, was indicted on 13 counts of principle to the crime of compensation for registration of voters. (Source: New York Times - May 2009)
